Melvin and Amy Kuepfer, from Ontario, Canada, focus on follow-up
ministry. Melvin
shares the Bondage to Freedom seminar following prison
and community crusades. He also teaches a new believer's
class. Joe Hochstetler from Millersburg, OH, Joe Yoder
from SC, and Loyd Gingerich from IL also teach the seminar on a
part-time basis.
The Bondage to Freedom seminar encourages people to leave their
pools of pain to be restored through Jesus, who came to heal
the broken-hearted and set the captives free. The
discussions focus on broken relationships, rejection, abuse
(physical, sexual, and verbal), and forgiving from the heart
those who have trespassed against us. Forgiveness is the
spiritual ointment that soothes emotional wounds and brings
restoration to all our relationships. One of the most
exciting parts of this class is the "group therapy"--sharing
openly with each other and praying for one another, as in James
5:16.
