Dear Friends,                                                                                          August 27, 2007

Greetings from the home front in the Carolina’s in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I trust you are rejoicing in the One (Jesus) who has laid down His life to give us eternal life.  PTL!

Upon returning home from a 2 1/2 week journey that was challenging, but yet fulfilling to the glory of God, we find ourselves celebrating Derek’s 14th birthday.  Wow, it’s hard to believe our oldest is 14 already.  We are very grateful for him.  We look forward to catch up on many things at home and at the office, as well as starting another school year.  This summer was a nice break from school for Ruth Ann and the children, however we are looking forward to more daily structure again.

This last journey began at the BMA Convention in Wooster, OH.  It was a great blessing and a good time of input and lots of contact and fellowship with other believers.  Following the convention we took a day off, which resulted in a trip to Cedar Point.  This is a place where our children have never been and Ruth Ann and I had not been there since our teenage years.  The children enjoyed having some of their Ohio friends join us for the day.   Wow, I think I am getting a little old for those rides, however we had fun!

After that we had three days of intense practice for the live drama recording which took place on August 12 at Gospel Haven in Millersburg, OH.  It was a good day, yet stressful at times.  We now have a lot of editing to do and we hope the DVD will be out sometime late fall.  We trust this will be a tool that brings glory to God and encourages people to give their life to Christ and to fully surrender to His Lordship, and also to encourage the Saints to a deeper relationship with almighty God!

Several one night church services brought us to the concluding weekend of the journey in Stuarts Draft, VA where I, as well as several other speakers spoke at a men’s camp called “Passion 07.”  There were approximately 54 single men in attendance ranging from the ages of 15-37.  They were involved in a lot of physical activities and then fed spiritually from the Word of God!  We were very blessed to be a part of this.

We are looking forward to the North Florida prison crusade the first of September, then church camping, which leads us to the Midwest banquet tour, another prison crusade in SC and then the OH and PA banquet tour followed by a week of revival meetings in PA.  In between several of these functions we have a weekend or several days at home.  Watch the GEET newsletter or website (www.gospelexpressonline.org) for details.

We are privileged to host Pastor Dickson from Uganda, Africa for several days during our time at home.  He shared a powerful message at church on Sunday and it’s a great blessing to have him around.

All in all we give glory to God  for His tender mercies and His amazing grace.  “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”  Lamentations 3:22-23
Thank you so much for your continual prayers and support.  You mean a lot to our family.  May God’s anointing rest upon you as you serve Him!

Because of Jesus,

Dave for the Millers
